Sartorial & Moodena

Sartorial & Moodena

Sartorial and Moodena are Tropical Disco – two likeminded individuals, who share a deep love of music, vinyl-culture and no-boundary parties. It originally started out as a Nu Disco and Groovin House show on Sartorial’s weekly House FM radio show and progressed on to be a monthly club night at The Market House in Brixton in 2017.

Tropical Disco started in November 2017 releasing their first vinyl ep Tropical Disco edits VOL 1 which kicked the label off with a bang. Building on that formula the label has gone from strength to strength, with each release selling more than the last with re-presses ordered within two weeks of each release being on sale.

In 2018 Moodena (Tim Burnett) a long-time friend of Sartorial was asked to join as a partner/director in the label. Tim brings a wealth of experience with over 20 years in the business as a founding member of MN2S a legendary artist agency, club night, record label and distribution company.

In March 2018 TD records went digital with a string of tracks going into the top ten of the Nu Disco chart immediately.
